It is formed by more than 90 sub-haplogroups (van Oven and Kayser, 2009), where the H1 is the major one having two peaks of high frequency in Scandinavian Peninsula and Southern Iberian Peninsula. The second most frequent haplogroup is the H3, commoner in South of Europe, particularly in France and Spain.
